How To Make Butter Chicken At Home | Restaurant Style Recipe

Butter Chicken is probably one of the most popular Indian chicken recipes liked by all & hence chef Varun Inamdar brings to your kitchen, your favorite delicacy from the restaurant. So watch and learn how to make butter chicken at home only on Get Curried.

    It serves 4-5 people.

    Ingredients

  • For the chicken
  • 300 gms Chicken breast boneless
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to pan fry

  • For the gravy

  • 500 gms roughly slit tomatoes
  • 100 gms roughly cut onions
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 50 gms cashew
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp malt vinegar / 1.5 tbsp White Vinegar
  • Salt to taste

    Method

  • Marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, and salt and keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes
  • In a pan heat, some oil then fries the marinated chicken pieces in it, once done place it into a bowl.
  • In the same pan add onion, oil, a spoonful of butter and once the onions are cooked add tomatoes and cashew nuts
  • Add some water and garlic paste, salt, malt vinegar, sugar, garam masala powder, and chili powder. Evenly mix it and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes
  • Churn the mixture into a fine puree.
  • Strain it back into the same pan make sure there is minimal wastage.
  • Add butter, cream, chicken and kasoori meethi and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Garnish it with cream and kasoori meethi
  • Butter Chicken is ready to be served!

Thai Curry Meatballs

PREPARATION 20 minutes | COOK TIME 20 minutes
SERVINGS Serves 4

    Ingredients
    For the meatballs

  • 1 lb of Ground Chicken
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup of Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp of Grated Ginger
  • 2 tsp of Red Thai Curry Paste
  • 1 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
  • Salt, to taste

  • For the sauce:

  • 2 Tbsp of Light Olive Oil or any other neutral oil
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 1 14 oz can of Full Fat Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup of Chicken Stock
  • 3 Tbsp of Thai Red Curry Paste
  • 1 Tbsp of Fish Sauce
  • Cilantro
  • Lime

    Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the meatballs, form into small meatballs and set aside.
  • Seat the meatballs in the oil in a large nonstick skillet just to sear on both sides, remove the meatballs to a plate and saute the onions and garlic in the same skillet until softened.
  • Stir in the curry paste for a few seconds, add the stock, fish sauce and coconut milk, bring to a boil, add the seared meatballs back in, simmer on medium heat for about 15 minutes. Finish with cilantro and lime and serve over rice.

Ingredients

Oreo Ice Crem

  • 18 Oreo cookies, divided
  • 1 can (14oz/400g) Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups (480ml) Heavy cream, cold

  • Oreo Cheesecake Bars.
    For the crust

  • 26 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup (60g) butter, melted

  • For the filling

  • 2½ cups (560g) Full Fat Cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup (160g) Sour cream
  • 12-16 oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup + 2 Tbsp (175g) Sugar
  • 3 eggs, room temperature

  • Oreo Truffles.
    For the truffles

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 3/4 cup (170g) Cream cheese
  • 7oz (200g) Milk/Dark chocolate
  • 7oz (200g) White chocolate

  • For decoration

  • White chocolate
  • Milk/dark chocolate
  • Directions

    Oreo Ice Crem

  • Crush 14 Oreo cookies.
  • Place cold heavy cream in a large bowl, whip to stiff peaks.
  • Add sweetened condensed milk and beat on low speed until incorporated, add crushed cookies and fold.
  • Transfer into a container/dish, top with 3-4 extra crushed cookies and freeze for least 6 hours.

    • Oreo Cheesecake Bar

    • Preheat oven to 325F (165C).
    • In a food processor or Ziploc bag crush Oreo cookies to fine crumbs. Add melted butter and pulse until combined.
    • Press into 9X9-inch (22X22cm) square pan or 20X25cm rectangle pan baking lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes. Set aside while making the filling.
    • In a large bowl beat cream cheese, vanilla extract and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, beat until smooth, add heavy cream and beat until smooth. Add eggs, one at the time, beating to combine after each addition.
    • Crush or chop Oreo cookies and fold into the filling. Pour the filing over the crust. And sprinkle some crushed Oreos (optional).
    • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until almost set. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Cut into squares.

    • Oreo Truffles

    • Place Oreo cookies in a food processor. Crush into fine crumbs.
    • Add cream cheese and pulse until combined and smooth.
    • Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    • Shape into 1-inch balls and freeze for 15-20 minutes.
    • Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 20-30 second pulses or over double boiler.
    • Dip each truffle in the chocolate, transfer into a parchment paper. Sprinkle with your desired topping.
    • Let set before serving.

    • 1 pineapple

    • 4 kiwis
    • 1 lemon

    • Instructions

    • Prepare the fruits. Pineapple: Cut the pineapple into bite-sized cubes (See the cooking lesson below). Strawberries: Rinse them thoroughly, hull them, and cut the big strawberries into quarters, and the smaller ones in half for bite sized pieces. Kiwis: Peel the kiwi, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
    • Combine all the prepared fruit in a large mixing bowl. Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the fruit. Sprinkle the sugar and poppy seeds over and then stir gently to combine. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
